Second call
The Carpathian School a volunteer project for non-formal education is welcoming bachelors, masters, graduate and post-doctoral students, early-career practitioners and researchers to take part in a remote Winter Session. The enrolled students from the partner universities may receive three ECTS credits proved by the Certificate program of academic mobility of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Thematic areas:
\uf076 Module 1. Adaptation to climate change during COVID-19 pandemic.
\uf076 Module 2. Protection of biodiversity, water resources and recreation areas.
\uf076 Module 3. Sustainable tourism perspectives of the Carpathian region.
\uf076 Module 4. Sustainable management of natural resources.
\uf076 Module 5. Municipal waste management and environmental impact assessment.
\uf076 Module 6. The \u201cthird\u201d mission of universities: educational, cultural and aesthetic aspects.
Terms of participation: Participation is free and does not request obligatory presentations. Participants may also attend the curse as listeners. Module 5 is organized for English \u2013 speaking participants. The Proceedings (Abstracts in Ukrainian, English) will be posted on the websites of the organizers and partners of the event. The selected synopses will be recommended for publishing in professional journals “Environmental Problems” (English), “Physical Geography and Geomorphology” and “Higher School” (Ukrainian).
